Aloe-EmodinAloe emodin (1,8-dihydroxy-3-(hydroxymethyl)anthraquinone) is an anthraquinone and an isomer of emodin present in aloe latex, an exudate from the aloe plant. It has a strong stimulant-laxative action. Aloe emodin is not carcinogenic when applied to the skin, although it may increase the carcinogenicity of some kinds of radiation. Aloe-Emodin EffectsAloe-emodin can be utilized for various types of diseases and cure purposes. It is an effective antioxidant for regenerating skin-damaged cells and is in huge amounts of aloe vera. The use of aloe-emodin lessens oxidative stress in the human body. Due to oxidative stress, heart diseases can reduce. So the use of aloe-emodin is no less than a blessing. We utilized it in various health and beauty products due to its highly effective antioxidant and antibacterial properties. Aloe-emodin uses in face masks to rehydrate and refresh the skin epithelial cells. Many clinical pharmacologists recommend aloe-emodin to cure skin, dental, oral, digestive health, and hair fall treatment. Dosage and StackDosageClinical studies are lacking to provide dosing recommendations. Animal studies have demonstrated that emodin undergoes extensive glucuronidation after oral dosing that results in extremely low bioavailability (less than 3%). However, coadministration of emodin with piperine has been shown to clinically improve emodin pharmacokinetics, with a 221% increase in area under the curve , a 258% increase in maximum concentration , and a 230% decrease in clearance due to inhibition of glucuronidation. After oral administration in rats, bioavailability of emodin and other constituents of processed P. multiflorum products were lower compared to the raw product.
