Fisetin is a flavonoid that is considered an aging drug, meaning it kills aging cells. According to rodent studies, it may reduce the number of senescent cells in tissues and extend life. Fisetin is a kind of flavonoid compound, which is insoluble in water, carbon tetrachloride and petroleum ether, but easily soluble in acetone, acetic acid and other solvents. Fisetin is widely found in fruits and vegetables such as strawberry, apple, onion and cucumber. It has a wide range of sources, cheap and easy to obtain, and has a wide range of pharmacological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticoagulation, antithrombosis, antispasmolysis, and treatment of diabetic kidney injury. In recent years, studies have found that Fisetin can play an anti-tumor role by inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and signal transduction pathways, inducing tumor cell apoptosis and other pathways, so it has attracted increasing attention. However, it is insoluble in water and has low bioavailability, which limits its further development and clinical application.
